Advice and Funding

Funding is the life blood of any project. There are many ways to find funding but the five most popular ways off attracting funds to an arts project are:

• Arts Councils support
• Local authority support
• Other State support
• EU support
• Private sponsorship/support

The two Arts Councils are the primary source for arts funding on the island. Their websites carry whole sections on the type of funding available and how to apply. The Arts Council of Northern Ireland also disburses money from the UK National Lottery Fund.
